Adam and Adina met while on staff at the Exploratorium science museum, the pioneer of inquiry-based STEM learning, in San Francisco. Since then, they have continued to teach children of all ages and run educational programs in schools, camps and museums.
Adam has taught science, music and social studies, creating innovative curriculum to make learning hands-on and fun. He has also served as executive director of nonprofit organizations. Adina co-lead the Yale Children’s Theater for many years, conducting drama workshops and productions throughout New Haven. She also teaches a popular parenting class, giving parents practical skills and confidence in their vital role.
We aim to empower every child to learn new skills, take on challenges and channel their creativity.
As educators and parents ourselves, we value communicating directly with school staff, coordinators and parents in order to best educate all students according to their unique needs.
Hobby Quest serves over 70 schools and community centers in nearly 40 towns throughout Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford counties.
